Mobile viewers see a tighter horizontal slice. If you pack detail edge to edge on desktop, part of it may disappear on phones.

Tips before you upload

Avoid placing your name or logo where the circular profile photo overlaps the banner on desktop.
Keep contrast strong. Banners sit behind white UI and can look washed out if the palette is too light.
Export JPEG, then tune quality with the slider until the file still looks crisp at full width.
If you manage a company page, use the company cover preset instead. The pixel dimensions are different.
