Resize image for Email and CMS Hero (2:1)
Wide hero block for email templates and content systems that use a 2:1 frame. 1200 x 600 pixels scales down cleanly to 600 CSS pixels wide on many desktop readers. JPEG is the safest default for email because many clients still do not render WebP reliably.

Why email heroes need a simple wide frame
Many marketing emails use a full width hero at the top of the message. A 1200 x 600 pixel master gives designers enough pixels for retina displays while still mapping to a 600 pixel logical width in common templates.
Not every ESP uses the same width. Treat this as a sensible default export, then confirm your template's max width in your email builder.
Tips before you upload
- Keep text large. Email clients block images by default for some users, so the alt text matters as much as the picture.
- JPEG is the practical default for broad email client support. If your ESP or CMS preview confirms WebP in the inbox, switch format in Pixscaler before download.
- Avoid tiny details along the bottom edge. Mobile readers often crop heroes slightly.
- For social link previews, use the blog or Open Graph presets instead. Email and social cards are different crops.
All compression happens locally in your browser. Your image files never leave your computer.
